Feb 8 2014: Henk de Villiers shot dead at rental smallholding: Mnandi Centurion by 5 black males who 'seemed possessed by the devil'. Widow badly beaten up, saved life pretending to be dead:

9 February 2014 - Centurion. An Afrikaner couple suffered a frenzied attack by five black males from around 01h00am on February 8 2014 at their Mnandi rental home outside Centurion. The husband, Henk de Villiers, was shot dead with 3 bullets in his body, tells his daughter Helene de Villiers-Schwarzer. His badly traumatized widow Rina, 70, who was dragged through the house, badly beaten and then thrown from the window into the pouring rain by the gunmen, pretended to be dead.
She had fallen head-first to the patio pavement. One of her husband's murderers afterwards kicked her in the ribs to find out if she was still alive. She pretended to be dead. She kept lying in the rain until she no longer heard them. "I was so scared they saw I was still alive,' she said.
The couple would have been married 50 years in August. She said the five-member black male gang used foul racist language and "destroyed the house as if they were possessed by the devil.'
Mrs de Villiers' ordeal started when she woke up at 1am when she heard shots being fired outside. She said next she heard her husband 'somewhere in the house', making noises."When I walked down the hallway five men walked from the front. "They grabbed me and dragged me to the study. Henk was dead on the floor.'
They then dragged her throughout the house looking for goods to steal. The 70-year-old Afrikaner woman managed to slam one attacker's hand while slamming a door on him, trying to escape. The man then fired three shots through the door-slot,
his mates grabbed her, tied her up and beat her up. (the word used by Beeld is 'verrinneweer'.)
She said her rottweiler dog tried to attack them but when they fired shots at him he hid away. Her blind fox-terrier dog was 'just as confused', she said.
After the gang left, she contacted the Mnandi neighbourhood watch who arrived very quickly. Her daughter Helene de Villiers Schwarzer, said her father was shot three times in the upper body."The house is full of bullet-holes. If it hadn't been for the neighbourhood watch, I don't know what would have happened to my mom, said her daughter.
Her beaten-up mother told the Afrikaans newpaper Beeld's journalist Hanti Otto: "I am glad he was shot dead so quickly, that he didn't suffer.'
