Murder: Much loved former Queen's College teacher Ron Wiggett, 76, stabbed to death in his home in Great Brakrivier at "The Island' village - Sunday 14 September 2014
Mr Wiggett was a graduate of Rhodes University (April 1959) with a bachelor of Arts degree.

MOSSEL BAY - South Africa A 57-year old man has been arrested by Great Brak River police in connection with the murder of a 76-year old resident from a small village,known as The Island. AlgoaNewsRadio reported.
Correspondent Louise Karsten reports that a task team arrested the suspect in his home in Wolwedans only a few hours after the body of Ron Wiggett was discovered in his home on Monday.
He died of a stab wound. The unidentified male suspect is to appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrates court soon on a charge of murder.
SAPS spokesman captain Malcom Potjie confirmed the murder: says he doesn't know if anything was 'robbed' yet but says house was 'in a great mess and robbery is likely the motive.'
Comment by former pupil Stewart Walker: "Ron Wiggett was my house-master at Athlone Queens College. He taught us the value of things in life and i have always had huge respect for him and the years we had him as our 'parent'.
