Case 1: Don't open your doors to uniformed police: Bennie Barnard warned that four uniformed police officers accessed the home of his sister and her family with the claim that they 'wanted to take a statement'. The family was robbed of everything valuable: they even cut away the safe from the wall with an angle-grinder, he wrote:

Dec 2014 West Cape police constable arrested in Kuilsriver for an armed robbery he carried out while on duty
on 25 Sept 2014 in Bellville, West Cape. SAPS lt-col André Traut said 'he was one of six uniformed police officers who accessed the home of a 27-year-old Chinese citizen under false pretenses:
We except to arrest more people soon. The 38-year-old constable appears in court on Monday. The robbed goods have not yet been recovered.
"Police officers who are under the impression that they can join the police force and be criminals at the same time,
must reconsider this most seriously,' Traut said.
