Murder: Mr Armstrong, 70, dead after beaten over the head while locking up Cathcart Bowls Club
9 December 2014 CATHCART, East Cape. An elderly Eastern Cape man, Mr Armstrong who was attacked over the weekend in the Cathcart Club died today from his injuries caused by 7 black males who brutally beat and bludgeoned him over the head while the 70-year-old white man was locking up the local bowling club. He was rushed to hospital in a coma and was declared brain dead.
Police Warrant Officer Namhla Mdleleni, says the suspects are still at large.
