7 January 2015: Update on condition of injured Mrs Elize Snyman, shot New Year's Eve, Hartbeespoortdam with her husband Leon, who was killed.
Harro Rust of the Plotwag citizen's patrol group at Hartbeespoortdam, writes that Mrs Snyman's condition 'has improved'."Doctors are waiting for the swelling to subside so that they can carry out the first of two scheduled operations.
The first surgery will reconnect the jaw-bone in two places, and the metal projectile will then also be removed from her spine.
