She was waiting for a taxi next to the road when she saw her employer in the BMW.
Before that at 13h00 two workers on his farm Egypt saw Mr Whittingdale climbing into a white BMW.
"His workers were fixing a roof and saw him climbing into the BMW but did not suspect anything, thinking the men must have been friends. Shortly thereafter he sent an SMS to his partner saying he urgently needed R200,000. This was highly unusual: he usually phones his partner personally when he needs money. We believe he may have been forced to type the message in. His partner is in Brazil so nothing came of this SMS-request.'
Richard said he and his family were waiting for Andrew on his other farm Makouvlei for a braai but he never showed up.
They got worried when his cellphone was turned off and lodged a Missing-Person case at the Ladysmith SAPS on Sunday.
"The SAPS has established at on Saturday-morning around 09h30am he withdrew all his money from a cash-point in Montague. The SAPS went to the bank on Thursday to view CCTV videos.' Richard said they also obtained a court-order to investigate his brother's cellphone-records. Andrew has a scar on his face, his left arm is weak and he limps with his left leg.
