’61-yo Afrikaner hairdresser Malie Kotze shot, injured by two black males who stormed into the Dingel Salon at 09h30am in Pretoria 23 Jan 2014 - Mrs Kotze was drying a customer's hair when she suddenly felt a blow against her head, said her daughter-in-law Tessa Kotze. "She bashed the terrorist with the hair-dryer over his head and he turned around and shot her in the chest. The bullet just missed her heart and went straight through her chest,' she said. Life-Med ambulance service spokesman Frikkie Gous said another hairdresser and a client were also assaulted by the terrorist. They were slightly injured and taken to nearby hospital. Mrs Kotze is at the Eugene Marais hospital, where she reportedly was in 'a critical but stable condition' early on Friday-afternoon.
