-------------
CPF-member Francois Malan writes on January 22 2014 at 6h39am:"Definite proof of the covering up of genocide' -"Yesterday around 2pm I receive a call that there was a farm murder early in the morning. The farm is located a stonethrow away from town and located in the Community Policing Forum Sector 3 (Nylstroom).
We call the official responsible for Sector 3 and hear that they have also just found out about it.
However - the SA Police Service from Pietersburg already were at the scene early that morning and are still at the scene'.
At exactly 17h47 on 21 January 2014 I receive the following sms:"Prof Adriaan Smit of Plot 13 died YESTERDAY. The SAPS says he died of natural causes.' The 'yesterday' refers to the previous day, 20 January 2014.
1. He was found naked next to a wire-fence.
2. His vehivle was nearby but the keys are missing.
3. His wallet is missing.
Malan writes: "We will investigate this further today. He lived alone so there are no witnesses that we are aware of.'

NEWS REPORT:
Professor's body found: 24 January 2014, journalist: Denise van Bergen
Nylstroom Post journalist Denis van Bergen writes: Professor Adriaan Smit 89 of Sussenvale Plot 18 outside Modimolle was found dead by a farm-worker on Tuesday-morning 21 January outside his farm.
SAPS spokesman warrant-officer James Findlay said that the farm worker, who is believed to having worked for Smit, came across his body at 08h00 that morning (January 21 2014) outside on the erf.
Findlay said there were 'no visible signs of injuries to Smit's body which indicated that he could have been murdered'. His house was locked and the investigating officer said the keys of his house were found near his body.
His watch was still on his wrist. According to the police it did not look as if anything was stolen.
The SAPS could not provide more information by the time of our going to press because the case and the circumstances of his death are still being investigated.
Smit was a professor at Unisa where he retired. It is believed he was the author of various dictionaries.
One of his friends and neighbours Johan Hennop said Smit led a lonely life on his farm. "He was not in the habit of locking his house. The doors often stood open and we were
worried that he would be attacked in his home one day. We were trying countless times to get him to go and stay at a retirement home where it was safer but he didn't want to know,"Hennop told Die Pos (Nylstroom).
Shortly after Smit's body was found rumours circulated amongst the Sussenvale residents that he was 'murdered and found naked.
The SAPS could not confirm this information. Findlay said until a post-mortem enquiry has been held we cannot be certain exactly what the death-cause was.'

Smit was vroeër ’n professor by Unisa, waar hy afgetree het.
