March 8 2014: 8pm second shooting: Young white couple - Frankie de Jager critically injured), fiancée Liliane van Schaik seriously injured, Glen Vista, Alberton The second shooting of a young couple in Alberton - both by a four-member black male gang who stormed into the home with their guns blazing -- occurred at around 8pm on March 8 2014. From the parents: "Liliane (our daughter) and Frankie (her fiancée) were both shot (and injured) late yesterday afternoon during a robbery whilst visiting family in Alberton. We came back a little while ago and are taking this opportunity to post this before heading back. Liliane and Frankie are at the moment both stable but Frankie remains critical. That is all the info we have at the moment and we will try to keep this post updated as much as we can. We also want to thank all the people involved and their bravery from the neighbourhood watch to the paramedics and hospital staff without whom this picture would be much bleaker than it is.
