UNSOLVED MURDER BY 16 December 2014: the lynching of Afrikaner farmer J.S.A. (Hans) Huyser on January 2 2012: -- The Mooinooi police didn't take the family's statements (even though they witnessed the murder) even ten days after the event... and very little investigation has been done since. Report by Hilda Fourie, Beeld Johannesburg "- The family of a Pretoria farmer who was shot dead in front of them 10 days ago, say the police have still not taken statements from them. Hans Huyser, 50, was killed in front of his wife and grandchild while he and a friend changed a flat tyre on the N4 highway near Brits.Huyser, his wife Cindy, 48, granddaughter Jessica, 10, and nephew Deon Graff, 15, went to Sun City with friends Danie Niemand, 53, and his wife Charmaine, 49.The Huysers farm at Onderstepoort and the Niemands live in Petronella.On the way back to Pretoria that evening they hit a pothole, which caused both tyres on the driver’s side of the Niemands’ car to go flat.Niemand and Huyser decided to first change just one tyre with the spare wheel and to continue driving slowly until the flat tyre could no longer go on, then to change the spare wheel and the flat tyre and continue driving with the other flat tyre.At about midnight they had to stop a second time on the N4 highway near Brits, to change the spare tyre and the one flat tyre.“We stopped under a big light. There was no one and no cars,” said Cindy Huyser.“Meanwhile, they [the attackers] sat in the grass, waiting like hyenas. We would never have gotten out if I had thought it was unsafe. We stopped in bright light.”Niemand was unscrewing the bolts of the front tyre while Huyser was hoisting the car.Their wives and Jessica were pouring cooldrinks at the boot.Three men then jumped over the barrier next to the road.“When the men reached us, Hans got up. One man reached into his pants and took out a gun,” said Niemand.“He pointed the firearm at me and pulled the trigger. I ran away. He fired two more shots.“I fell in the road and lost consciousness for a few seconds. When I came to, I jumped up and stopped three cars.”Meanwhile the man who shot at Niemand, went back to Huyser, who hit him with the car jack. He then shot Huyser three times in the chest.One man loosened his pants and told Huyser’s wife to go and lie down in the bushes. She swore at him and ran to her husband.The men took Huyser’s cellphone and Niemand’s wife’s handbag in the car and walked off.“Hans looked at me with those blue eyes of his,” said Cindy.“I helped him lie down and breathed into his mouth. When the paramedic arrived at the scene, she felt his pulse and said he was dead.”North West police spokesperson Captain Adéle Myburg said the Mooinooi police would investigate allegations about statements that had not been taken . http://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/News/Farmer-shot-dead-while-changing-tyre-20120113 FRANTIC ATTACKS BY BLACK MOB N4 highway, near Lion Park, Muldersdrift and Brits MOOINOOI: - Afrikaner Hans Huyser murdered in road block set up by large militia gang: North West police have arrested three MORE black males who are charged with deliberately creating road-blocks, causing passing white motorists to crash, attackingm torturing and robbing them on the N4 highway near the Lion Park, Muldersdrift, Majakaneng, Mooinooi. Radio Sonder Grense Afrikaans broadcaster said the suspect-gang was raising large roadblocks with concrete blocks and large boulders which forced motorists to slow down and circumvent them. The gang then would attack the motorists when their cars got out of control, crashed or when they motorists got out of their cars to remove the boulders, The white victims then would be gang-raped, tortured, beaten, brutally assaulted and robbed. One of the black male suspects was arrested at the Lion Park in Muldersdrift where he worked – two others at the Majakaneng township outside Brits. Authorities also confiscated goods in their shop which it is believed were robbed from their victims. It’s not known at this stage whether any of their victims died from the brutal treatment. This testimony will be revealed during the trial.
