REPORT by Quinton du Plooy to Boere Krisis Aksie Group on Facebook:
Farm Attack date 10 January 2015 Police case Nr 73/01/2015
Crime scene Groothoek farm, between Dendron and Vivo, Limpopo province.
3 black male attackers arrived at 11h20 am Tuesday morning and attacked Afrikaner grandmother Huidrecht du Plooy, her daughter Bianca Grobler and her 6-month old baby with knives.
One black male attacker stood guard outside: their tracks were found outside after the attack.
The grandmother was stormed when she sat on the stoep of the farm talking to her husband on the fixed-line telephone. Just as she put down the phone the four blacks stormed towards her with knives.
They dragged the Afrikaner lady into the farm house while she was screaming loudly to alert her daughter: who grabbed the baby and locked herself and her child up in a room.
She was still phoning her dad who was in Dendron to warn him when the four blacks kicked down the door of the room she was in, grabbed her phone away and threatened to kill her.
The two women and the baby were forced into the bedroom while the knifemen demanded money. Mrs du Plooy handed them a tin with coins.
The four knifemen then assaulted Mrs Du Plooy on the bed. Then two of them left the room and searched for valuables in the homestead while 1 man opened the drawers of her closet.
Mrs Du Plooy then took the occasion when his back was turned to grab her pistol which she kept loaded near the bed and tried to fire a shot.
The gun failed to go off but he ran as she was reloading and this time got off a shot while the four black knifemen fled into the veldt.
After all this trouble, the four blacks looted only R200 (about 15 Euros) and two old cellphones. No-one was arrested.
