Survived: 80-year-old woman mauled, traumatised b y black male home invader in HIll Street, Strand, reports Gordon's Bay Security: Sunday we received a call from a resident who heard screams from a house in Hill Street nearby Kruger street, Strand where the caller resided. The armed reaction unit GBSEC members Trevor Green and Jan Lukas rushed to the scene. A black man had rushed from the house in question, pursued by Strand Sector 3 neighbourhood watch volunteers and GBSEC members. The suspect was caught on the corner of Kerk and Terhoeven Streets with looted items in his possession. The elderly lady was found in injured, traumatised state by the rescuers and taken the Mediclinic for treatment.
