Bangladeshi citizen Sahodidul Islam tortured to death, Soutpan, Free State, South Africa ------------------ August 5, 2013 - A small child who found R4,000 cash belonging to Sahodidul Islam, a Bangladeshi citizen who was murdered on 15 June 2013 at Soutpan in the Free State, faithfully turned it in to the SAPS. Advocate Francois Pienaar said the policemen who only booked in R600 of the R4,000 into their records will be prosecuted for stealing the rest of the money. He said in the Free State High Court at the trial of the convicted murders that one of them had had lost the cash in the veld, and that the child had picked it up and took it to his parents."The police officers will be charged,' he said. "One has already been fired after a discliplinary hearing, and the second police officer is still in the process of his hearing.'
