A Man and a woman were shot and critically injured pm a Richmond, KZN farm on 30 August, reports Philip Bruwer. "They have both been admitted in critical condition to hospital after they were shot at around 02h00 Friday morning at the Honeywood farm near Richmond. SAPS colonel Jay Naicker confirmed to Maroela Media that 'information about the incident still is scarce'The woman in her thirties was apparently shot by a man inside the house and the man also was shot, with a firearm still found in his hands.' Netcare911's Chris Botha,confirmed that both patients were stabilised at the crime-scene and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. It is confirmed that the Richmond SAPS has opened a case of attempted murder and possession of an illegal firearm. Nothing was said about anybody having been arrested.
