Farm attack victim Mrs Shirleen Victor Booysen 59, dies Jan 20 2014 - remained frail after horrific attack on Nov 20 2011

(Hannes Engelbrecht, Boere Krisis Aksie, reports:) GRABOUW: January 20 2014 - 6am Farm Attack victim Shirleen Victor Booysen (59) died today - made a slow recovery from coma after attack on farm Blaaukrans, Grabouw in 2011 - She was strangled, shot in her head and arm and beaten by black attackers. It's not known if anyone was ever captured for the attack. She was found with her hands tied together and a black belt around her neck. SAPS spokesman w/o November Filander said she had two gunshot wounds to her forehead and right arm. She was taken in a critical condition to hospital. The SAPS had rushed to the farm after receiving a call at around 21h00 on November 20 2011. A neighbour called the police after Booysen's daughter called him when she could not reach her mom. The police found her unconscious in a 'blood-drenched homestead'. Mrs Booysen was left in a coma from which she eventually awakened: but she had lost her short-term memory. Her last entries on her Facebook page were in November 2011: the month she was attacked and was found comatose on the farm . https://www.facebook.com/shirleen.v.booysen/about It was reported on the Boere Krisis Aksie B.K.A. page that since that time, Mrs Booysen she had been making good progress and even sent out Happy 2014 sms messages to her friends and family.
