Afrikaner employee Hanlie Wessels stabbed 20 times by black male attackers inside Agriculture Dept 's Pretoria office: nothing robbed - believed revenge-attack over grievance she lodged against a colleague five months earlier. ---------------- Jan 20 2014 - Die Vryburger reports that Hanlie Wessels, who works at the Pretoria office of the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, was stabbed some 20 times by two black men who attacked her in her office. "We will come back for you,' the knifemen said as all three left the office. One was standing guard outside her office while two men assaulted and stabbed the Afrikaner worker. She told from her hospital bed that they tied up her hands and feet before torturing her with their knives: stabbing her some 20 times . One attacker tried to stab her in the throat but she managed to stop him with her arms. 'They demanded my car keys saying they wanted to take a ride with me, ' she said. When they couldn't find her car-keys they started stabbing her. She said the men eventually fled because the telephone was ringing constantly. Nothing was ' robbed '. Hanlie said that several hours before the mysterious attack, she had enquired about the progress of a grievance she had lodged against a colleague five months earlier, but had not yet been handled. She did not explain why she lodged the complaint and what it was about. The Department claims that they are investigating how the knifemen could have gotten past their metal-conductors and reach her office without anyone stopping them. Deputy-head manager of the Public Servants Association Manie de Clercq also wanted to know why Ms Wessels complaint about a collegue's behaviour had not been handled after five months.
