Potchefstroom. March 10 2014 - Beeld.com: 'Two black males on trial for murdering farmer Johan Stiglingh and the assault & rape of his wife Corra, denied all four charges against them today.
The two suspects, Solomon Ntika Mojaki 22 and Andries Rampey Mokataka 23 said this at the start of the murder-trial on Monday March 10 2015 in the Potchefstroom court.
They are charged with bludgeoning to death farmer Johan Stighlingh, 67 and assaulting and raping his widow Corra (64) on March 17 2013. Mojaki and Mokataka deny charges of murder, attempted murder, robbery with extinuating circumstances and rape. It was reported at the time by Beeld Afrikaans daily that the Afrikaner farm-couple were readying themselves for church that Sunday morning when they were attacked at around 09h00.
Mrs Stighlingh was ambushed as she stepped from their room with two black males attacking her in the corridor. She reportedly screamed, tried to block the first blow with 'something which looked like a baseball bat'.
The blow struck her right arm, breaking it, and it required surgery with a plate and screws to mend it. Other blows also rained down on the back of her skull : she sustained cracks in the skull and had to be stitched up.
She fell to the floor. Her husband had heard her scream from the kitchen door and reportedly had shouted at her: 'what's wrong'. Then she heard him say: . "Toe hoor ek net hy sê 'jou...' (I just heard it I tell you).
Thereafter she never heard her husband's voice again, she told the newspaper at the time. The attackers then dragged her and her husband to the bedroom. She pretended to be dead. "Then one picked me up, blindfolded me, threw me on the bed and raped me,' she reportedly said.
The elderly grandmother said he 'said ugly things and I could smell beer on him.' After she was raped they demanded money before leaving. Mrs Stiglingh took the blindfold off and saw her husband next door her: "I hoped he was just unconscious and I felt his neck."I didn't feel a pulse-beat however.' She cut the rope around her hands with a knife in the kitchen and then she managed to drive a farm-bakkie to the neighbours. "My arm was hurting so badly I could only steer with my left hand.
I ended up in a trench but managed to get out of it. Mrs Stiglingh does not want to live on the farm any more and has put it up for sale. It's not known how many workers the farm employed.

The couple's daughter Heleen Vosloo writes at 15h00 on the facebook page of Boere Krisis aksie with a picture from the evidence file: "We just came from the Potchefstroom court where the two barbarians are on trial for the murder of my dad Johan Stiglingh on his farm
near Ventersdorp on 17 March 2013 and for assaulting my mom and raping her. They pleaded not guilty to all four charges.
It is going to be a long drawnout trial but one day they will burn. Their eyes have no feeling in them, they look devilish and as can be expected not a hint of remorse.
I realize I won't have to forgive them because they will never ask God for forgiveness... they are satan's children'.
